Linfield University TopCat Club

Pledge to a Specific Sport, Program or Project

Gifts supporting specific sports, programs or projects are a vital component to enhancing the quality of Linfield Athletics. In addition to discretionary gifts directed toward the TopCat Club, specified gifts provide the necessary resources to support an enriching and success-oriented experience for Linfield’s 500 student-athletes. Contributions directed to the program of your designation provide incremental support for special initiatives beyond the annual budget. It should be noted that gifts directed toward particular areas do in fact qualify for TopCat Club membership and benefits.

If you prefer, you may also make a gift to the TopCat Club general fund in support of all programs.

Baseball

Baseball 600x338

Gifts directed to the baseball program support the purchase of new uniforms and practice attire for varsity and junior varsity team members, maintenance and enhancements to Roy Helser Field and Jim Wright Stadium, out-of-region travel, and training equipment.

Our long-range objective is to construct a two-story team building on the third-base side of Helser Field. The structure would include a classroom, team room and film room on the lower level. The second floor would feature an open multi-use room where we could host recruit functions, team dinners and provide an enclosed location for VIPs to gather, socialize and watch games. Supporters at the $1,000+ level receive exclusive benefits, including a written team update from Coach Dan Spencer every other week, recognition on stadium signage and invitations to the annual alumni grill in May.
